SAINT LUIS REY

San Luis Rey was founded before World War II, in 1940, by British tobacco importers Michael de Keyser and Nathan Silverstone. Initially, the brand was exported only to the United Kingdom, until the 1990s when Habanos decided to introduce it to the global market. The name is said to have been inspired by the popular American film The Bridge of San Luis Rey, though some claim it was chosen to honor the town of San Luis in the Vuelta Abajo region.
Produced at the Romeo y Julieta factory, San Luis Rey cigars are renowned for their rich, full-bodied flavor, earning a respected place among Havana cigars. Although today they are available only in select countries and regions, the brand continues to be cherished by loyal aficionados.
