Founded in 1924, the full name of the brand is Quintero y Hermano (“Quintero and Brother”), established by tobacco expert Agustín Quintero and his four brothers in Cienfuegos, the southern Cuban port city known as the “Pearl of the South.” With their refined craftsmanship and deep knowledge of tobacco, the Quintero brothers quickly achieved success, later setting up a small factory to produce cigars that could rival Havana’s leading brands.
Quintero cigars are made with tobacco leaves sourced from Cuba’s Vuelta Abajo and Semi Vuelta regions. All are Totalmente a Mano con Tripa Larga – totally handmade long-filler cigars.
