The Partagás Culebras were first released in the 1960s and discontinued in 2005. Initially machine-made and then twisted into their signature braid-like shape by hand, they were revived in 2007 with a new band design and fully handmade production. The packaging also changed from foil wrapping to wooden boxes. Despite their unusual twisted appearance, the draw remains smooth, and the flavor stays true to the classic Partagás style: woody notes with a subtle hint of toasted bread, becoming more pronounced in the final third, with a lingering aroma that endures on the palate.
